learn spanish,learn foreign languages

Learning a language takes too much time!

If that’s your mindset as you learn Spanish or Chinese or whatever, you might as well quit now.

But first, you need to answer this question…did you really think you could learn a foreign language in 30 days? It’s a shame that people are out there promoting the magic elixir to language learning with little or no effort. But, it’s a free country, right?

Actually, I don’t want you to quit if you catch yourself saying the above phrase. There is still hope. You can find simple, easy, even fun ways to learn a language and it doesn’t need to take a lot of time. In fact, you can incorporate the learning into your daily routine.

Here’s a quick way how.

Assuming you’re not a 100% beginner, you can start to use what little you know as a start. Here’s what you do. When you find yourself daydreaming about vacations, or your “to-do” list, begin to find the words to do it in the target language.

For example, when I wake up in the morning, I go over my “to-do” list. I think of the things I have to do during the day. If I were learning Spanish, I would learn the structure of “I have to …..” and the verbs that represent what I need to do.

Then I would have a list of “I have to go to the store. I have to buy stamps. I have to workout. etc” However, they would all be in Spanish. This way, I’d be doing something that comes naturally (planning) and getting practice at the same time.

No extra study time needed!

So you see, even if you feel learning a langauge is too much, you can change your mindset and learn simple tricks and tips that make it a breeze.
